Attractive tailored Victorian rare convex lapis ring crafted in 14kt yellow gold dating back to the 1890s. An artfully hand-engraved intricate design is depicted on each side of this stylized mount. An unusual hallmark (PAT. Aug 26 90) can be found on the inside of the shank as well as a makers mark "PRINCESS" (the name of the manufacturing company circa 1890). This ring is a truly striking piece that can be easily worn by either a man or women.
